Triple-amputee veteran Jon White is one of the leading figures in global para-kayaking — a world champion in Ocean Racing and Marathon Kayaking, now setting his sights on the Paralympic Games in Los Angeles 2028. But for Jon, sport isn’t just about medals — it’s about inspiring people to achieve their full potential, regardless of the challenges they face.
From his early teens, Jon was a keen cross-country runner, rock climber and kayaker. After his injuries, he returned to kayaking with a passion – competing in the gruelling 125-mile Devizes to Westminster race twice, before becoming focused on competitive marathon and sprint kayaking.

Qualifying
Jon is now training full-time in Sprint Kayaking, preparing to qualify for Team GB, working with top coaches at the National Training Centre in Nottingham.
